PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said today that the party is prepared to face the 15th general election even if it were to be held next month, or even next year.
This comes after rumours circulated that Parliament would be dissolved soon, following the tabling of Budget 2023 being pushed to Oct 7, three weeks earlier than initially scheduled.
Earlier, when addressing a crowd of over 3,500 party members at the party’s GE15 convention, he said the party was drawing up strategies and finding new approaches for GE15.
“This is the only party in the country where there is leadership and it is represented by two generations.
“If someone asks me, what would happen if I ‘went away’, I’d say that the party is in good hands,” he said during his address at the convention held in Shah Alam on Saturday.
